My Daily is on 7" wide ET38 wheels with 195 tyres, lowered about 40mm. With no rubbing at all with standard arches and trims. Like I said it all depends on wheel offset and the amount of lowering

... it's turned into a fashion show for poofters.

Ive been giving it a lot of thought & have decided to stick with my BBS RMs which
in standard form are et33 6.5" .Im going to replace the standard 0.5" outer with a 1.5"
outer giving me a 7.5" alloy .(What et this equates to ?????)
My reason for this is that im going to build a car from the parts ive already got,
thus keeping the costs down .Also i think his will be a nice compramise between
looks & practicallity.
Regaurding arch rolling tools, i remember a guide in one of the golf mags on how
to build one  .Does anybody have any info on this or a  link to a page on this subject .
Ive partlt polished one of the RMs & am quite chuffed , I think im going to refurb
them my self too . Any advice on the subject would be appreciated .

yeah. having fat mates is rubbish
wish they would leave me alone and go and buy a volvo. Mind you its an easy way to get that lowered look... does nothing for performance tho
