the only peeps i know that europe wide nod/wave are aircooled dubbers, and motorbikers..

yeah the scene has grown ten fold even over the years ive been into em but.... iive been looked at like a twit when ive flashed beeped another gti owner over the years.... (waiting for comments... lol)

so i dunno... i dont think it will work... remember when people were trying to signal each other about speed cams.... that didnt last long...

you know those kids you see hanging round wearing alot of black, sweat bands, rucksaks with tipex all over them and hair over their eyes, different to goths but not quite skater kids.... emo! short for 'emotional' because no-one understands them and life is so hard when you're 14 and their music is so deep and everyone hates them because their individual even though they are carbon copies of each other and life just scks and that makes them cry and its just so unfair that no-one see's just how beautifull the world is even dead things and then they cry a bit more and self harm because their mates do and blah blah blah get over it!

So because I have that new fangled "water stuff" cooling my engine and they have a hairdryer or something heating it up so it breaks down in traffic, You don't wave at me and call me a kettle. This from the man in a v6 barge!!

I go to a few VW shows with a mainly aircooled lot and get it all the time!

so ill stick to being a ignorant tw@t that dont wave unless waved at... lol....

unless peeps dont know what there driving and you flash/wave/beep etc at them they just think that your sum you chaved up w@nker.....

I always flash my lights or wave to other dubbers, mainly Mark 1 or Mark 2 GTI's, and some mark 3's. However 4 and 5's dont really know what they are driving tbh. I dont always get a response but sometimes I do.

I find that when I am in the golf and I wave to scirocco owners they dont tend to respond either as they dont like golf or golf owners, or at least thats the vibe I have got from scirocco owners.

I dont wave to aircooled as I know I am not going to get a response, if they waved to me I would be only too happy to respond
