get a vr and then stick a turbo on it!!!  :smug: its the sound that got me into my vr,and i had an impreza turbo!  :wink:

Unbias opinion.

VR6 - awesome sound, no replacement for displacement.

1.8T - Immensly tunable, Newer engine.

horses for courses, probably best to drive both and make your own mind up. 1.8T will have the advantage of being newer (if only by 1 year in some cases).

had a go in a m8's 1.8t the other day, it's all chipped up to 190bhp and all i can say is "I'm glad i bought another VR", it's just a bag of wind, with no real pull, doesn't pin yer in yer seat like a VR, mine would piss on it and i haven't even de-cat'd it or anything  yet, plus it just didn't feel as solid or have the usuall Vw build quality....


Give me a V-rar anyday.......  :wink:
