Got my 1.8t what a beauty!
« on: 19 August 2006, 05:33 »
Hi guys, I have had my 1.8t for a few weeks now and am absolutely loving her to bits!  Everything the Mk4 guys said would go wrong has all within two weeks (water pump and electric windows!) so just waiting on the MAF to die now lol!  She is under warranty and my main dealer was spot on, changed both drivers and passenger window under warranty for me even though only passenger window had failed.  Also changed cam belts and tensioners etc free of charge when doing water pump so really can't complain!  Love the forum I will no doubt become a regular asker of advice!

Here she is!  Afraid I won't be modifying her at all other than keeping her very shiny.

Isn't it heart breaking when you keep finding new scratches every single time you wash your car!  Must be because black paint shows them up.

Here she is from the front

And here from the back next to my mates 2.0 which bizarely has the red I in the badge unlike mine!  Have taken them out for a drive, found the 2.0 was very nice, better than any Ford offerings in the same class but not a patch on the 1.8t

Well thanks for the warm welcome
