I all way's wanted a mk2 and found a perfect one just after my first kid was born...worst luck the boot on a mk2 is the size of a shoe box and the (now ex) girlfriend ordered me to buy a rover!!!!....Luckily a few year's on I am now married to a sane girl who let's me buy what I want..I bought a mk3 1.8driver first followed by an early gti (which was a shed)and now on my third which is my perfect motor (unless my insurance agree's to a vr6 soon)

lmao, have you heard you lot ! :laugh: So basically what you are all saying is you like your mk3s because they are comfortable, they have air-con, mod cons, comfy seats, big boots etc etc etc. So have Rovers, Fiats, Renaults, Peugeots etc etc etc. You all sound as old as Len ! hahahahahahahahahahaha

Gibby, I think were saying we love our Mk3's so we can wind up all the Mk2 people  :tongue:

Its spreading a bit of love, instead of the usual arguing about a 8V v 16V  :rolleyes:

Anyway, Rovers have a lot going for them  :laugh: like..........

Do you reckon there are any Rover forums on the net, showing a mean 75 with a nice halfords body kit on it ?
