New 1.4 Supercharged & Turbocharged petrol VW engine

Does anyone know when and in what this engine will be released?

new ? its been out a while mate, and news stories were released last year.. keep up

pop into a vw showroom or vw.co.uk .. still havent taken the test drive they keep offering me.

So what cars is it in? I just wondered cos my dads gonna buy one of the new eos things for my mam and wondered if you could have this engine.

Just the Golf GT at the moment ... i would imagine they'll test it in that for a while before putting it into the other cars. I wouldn't mind a polo with that motor in

and the Golf Sport too but with only 140PS as opposed to 170PS

Seen a couple of Eos's at my local dealer; look good in the flesh but are way overprice in my opinion!

19K for a 1.6 engine
