speaker holes.

hi people,does anybody know which size teh speakers are that mount in the front doors and the rear shelf? also do the front speakers have seperate tweeters in the dash or similar or are they part of the door speaker?

rear speakers are 6x4 and the ones that sit in the dash are just normal 3 and a half inchers (i think) they did optional door speaker pockets which go in the actual door pocket which i believe are 5".

All of which are crappy sizes. Also no, the ones in the dash are not tweeters but normal midrange speakers.

i disagree on the crappy sizes thing.. i have replaced my 6x4's from unde the parcel shelf, which i won on ebay for next to nothing! dead easy to fit - i managed it myself! :) and the change in sound quality was brilliant. i just didnt want to hack into my parcel self!  :smiley:

Yeah but if your after a good sounding loud system han there is no way you can get it using the origional sizes and setup.

If ya wanna replace those dash mids then have a look at the JBL range.
I think the numbers are 202, 302 & 402 being approx 2 inch, 3 inch etc.
These are 2 way mid/tweeter speekers and very good.
