I bought this from Motorpoint and took delivery in July 06.
It's diamond black in colour.
I'd say about 4 of the panels (bonnet, roof, both doors) have dirt under the paint.
Most of the panels have what I can't describe very well! They look like permanent water mark/ air bubbles under the laquer, this is all over the car. The n/s rear quarter panel is worst area as it covered in these marks. See pics for the marks I'm talking about, it's difficult to take a good picture of the problem due to the reflections from the pearlescent paint. These marks are all over the damn car though. These marks are definitely under the top layer by the way, it looks much worse when you see it yourself
I've been to the local dealer and VW are sending a 'paint expert' to inspect the car next week.
I reckon I'm looking at a full respray here.
I love the car but this issue is making me very unhappy.
These photos may not show up too well, as I say, the reflections make it difficult to show the problem with a camera.
