Sideways!!! on an Island!

Wahey! took an island 'slightly' too fast and the back end went! aaargh.  but slightlysteered into it kept the power up and the old gal gripped back in, lovely! I dont drive her much but when I do she still makes me smile, love em me!
Hows the weather treating driving conditions where you are?

fackin rough bad frost last night went to grimsby today cause the mrs wanted to goto the 'next' sale got the old mk2 a bit sideways on coming down from a hill to a round about after takin a saxo vts, other than that i should drive more steady!!!! but i aint havin no 'burrberry boyt in a saxo' havin the better of me!!! lol, ( oh yeah i love playin in a nearly 19yr old golf!!!) dont go playin in me mk4!!! dont wanna stack it!!! ::) ::) ::)

I didnt think I could crash an 8valve, too slow! ;D ;)
Tried to drive my Passat like my Golf and nearly lost that on an island though.   :-[

Get the passat chipped, uprate the suspension.
You'll forget you ever owned an 8v...

Apparently the Passat being a 1.8T Sport has uprated suspension? seems a bit spongy to me, but yes now I got a 20valver! 8 seems a little too few!
Still love her though

Standard VW suspensions are sh!t on mk3 and mk4 apparently. The standard kit on my vr6 was as soft as a knackered mattress. It was one of the first things i changed. To improve the ride get some eibach springs, no more bouncing everywhere.
I believe you got the 150bhp? a chip will take you to 180bhp.
