rolling roads
« on: 11 August 2006, 21:45 »
always wanted to take my golf for a full rolling road tune up, but know (obviously!) that they can "drive" the car pretty hard. Firstly, are there any in the west sussex area, local to worthing, brighton or surrey, guildford areas and if so, are they insured if they make the engine go bang, or is it my problem? :undecided:

not sure of any round here (i'm in worthing) but we did a froum rolling road day last year so maybe we could sort another one out at some point?

they did basic checks on the cars before we went on but i'm pretty sure its you're tuff titties if it does go pop. there's no reason why it hould be any different on a rolling road compared to normal driving (thrashing). ;)

do they do one run then see if its running right then if its not fettle it a bit so it is, then do a second run or do they just see what everyone has got at what ever state or condition the car is in? (if you follow me)
