I am slowly picking up all the problems on my new Gti, so far I have changed the gear linkage bushes, new shift rods, new weighted shift rod from a mk3, new ball joint at base of gear stick and new fan and cowling. Bu on the july 27th I got another new thing, a baby son!
so the dub has taken a back seat :embarassed:
I have to sort out the idle, the oil light flashes when the oil temp is up to normal. Now this could be all manner of things, (vacum, dirty isv, plugs, sensors) so I want to leave it to the professionals as I want it spot on.
Can anyone reccomend someone to sort my digi out?
By the way, I really reccomend all the gear mods mentioed above, they make a real difference! And best news so far is that my son loves going in the golf, it's in the genes!
