wheels - something different?
« on: 02 August 2006, 10:29 »
hi to all

was just thinking about getting a new set of rims, but dont want to go down the a8 route, if you know what i mean!

as my car is navy blue, i was thinking about black rims, anyone with any recommendations, pics or links...

fyi, the suspension is not lowered, in fact the car is stock.

not sure that black wheels would work on a blue car tbh. Stick with something shiny and understated

thats the best mk3 ive seen..ever! its just clean and subtle..

some black wheels look gud on a blue car..
best thing to do is get a side profile of ur car, the wheels your after, and photoshop it..or ask one of the lads on here to do it for you..

well basically..you choose a wheel you like and and look you want and go from there..
because depening on your wheel size (17s?)/type, you may need to change your suspension and wot not..
as for offset..ask joe or jv..or toph!
have a looksee.. http://www.uk-mkivs.net/forums/42/ShowForum.aspx
