New headlights - now probs

Alright chaps - its been a while since i've been here!

I need some help on behalf of a mate. Hew has fitted the Mk4 headlights to his Vr6. Since doing this he is having loads of problems with all the other lights. For example his indicators come on with the headlights, his brakelights come on with the indicators etc etc. I have done a search and have found its likely to be an earth fault.  Anybody seen this first hand??

yep defo earthing issues there!  Run some more earth lines to the battery/bodywork :)
