What p!sses me off, is the fact that he's totally untouchable... No doubt he'll be boasting about this to his spotty mates. I just really hope that he keeps out of my way, as if he catches me on a bad day I'll be in trouble. Well it's judgement day on Wednesday, to see if in needs painting or just polishing. Fingers crossed. Anyway, he's 18 in a couple of months...!?!?

Doc,
I'm thinking of part-exing my 06 GTI with 10k on the clock for an R32.. - the pic of yours looks too irresistable... question is... is there a way of maximising the part-ex value of my GTI?
Thanks in advance...

Try my dealer

Send me your spec and I'll get you a price.

This photo WONT help - that blue is super fantastic - I'll miss it!

BUT I wont miss the  everywhere I go in it!

Thanks Doc - and apologies to GTI CV7 for hijacking your thread

My spec is quite spartan, but I have gone for the options that I think add maximum value as I was alsways going to part-ex this car for an Anniversary GTI next year (that plan is still on) .  The spec is as follows:

Mk5 GTI 06 plate
Manual Gearbox
3 door
Diamond Black Pearlescent
Front Centre Armrest
18" Monza Alloys
Smoking Pack - yes but only because it was free and although I don't smoke and the car has never been smoked in, a future owner might appreciate it.
Autoglym Lifeshine applied at the dealer before delivery for £250

Purchased from VW Wolsey of Ipswich 25th April 2006 for £21.5k

Current Mileage 9450 miles

What I am looking for is the following and it has to have as a minimum:
Mk5 R32 - 06 plate
Deep blue metallic - the only R32 colour to have - original and the best
DSG - although I don't like automatics I have got to see what all the fuss is about
3 door

basically something like yours

ooops sorry Doc, didn't realise you were waiting for me - I was waiting for a part-ex value   Your R32 would be out pof my price range being fully loaded as such.  I have got about 5-6k spare which translates to about £23-24k depending on how much I get for a part-ex
