The last of the uprated headlight looms

Just built up a batch with the remaining bits I have here. Got 1 completed loom and 4 needing plugs. I'll pickup the plugs for them in the next few days to complete them making a total of 5
The looms are easy to fit and attach to mk1's and mk2's delivering a full 14.4v to your bulbs making them brighter! It's safe to use higher wattage bulbs with these looms with no risk of burning out the wiring!
supplied with fitting instructions.
£35 delivered.

These uprated wiring looms of yours... Are they like those you find in later Mk2 GTi's? As in them ones that have the hazard warning light on the steering coloumn?

nowt to do with that mate.
these looms are located in the engine bay and connect from your battery directly to your headlights. they are uprated in that they don't lose as much current as the existing loom and therefore making your headlights much brighter!
definitely worth the £35 mate; I had one in my MK2; night driving is so much easier!!

Dizzie,
Do your looms come with the standard plug interfaces, so they ?
I guess your using the original power loom as the relay feed for the uprated loom.#
Cheers

sorry for not posting this in the original post. The loom connects to the battery which gives it the full voltage. the original loom then is disconnected and 2 spades plug into it near the battery. new H4 plugs are then run to the lamps which connect to the bulbs.
no need to cut or solder anything. I made them 'plug and play'
Before anyone asks, they don't do fog lights or the inner spot lights. You will find the inner ones get brighter anyway when this loom is fitted, but that's down to them running in paralell off the original lamps which are now off the new loom.
cheers for that gti jim
I've sold loads through ebay. here is a link to my feedback. pretty much all the items I sold are looms.

Those plugs, wires & relays aren't exactly cheap when you add it all up, then you've got to add Dizzie's time making them so I don't think £35 is expensive at all. If I didn't have the bits to make my own here I'd have a set myself
