Good picture. Thanks Block. I wonder if VW will release new cradles for new ipods as quickly as they do for new phones for their handsfree cradles. Or am i just being cynical?

I have just had the dealer order me a ipod adapter and phone cradle and remove my 6 disc changer.

I am slightly peeved as I am paying £300 for an option that should be free for me.  As I ordered the sat nav, oh well I guess that is just how things are.  I will now picking up my car on the 4th of sep.  I might ask for my 6 disc changer in the armrest, as it is mine as I have paid for it already.
Questions I had DOC, if you dont mind are.

Can I control my ipod from the steering wheel controls?
Will the names come up on the head unit.
I have an mp3 head unit on current car, so have numerous mp'3 cd's, hence ipod is the best option for me.  As, I change my muisc all the time.  Thanks DOC.

You can skip tracks with the steering wheel controls, adjust volume and mute, but that's about it. The names don't come up on the screen, just the last 2 digits of the track numbers. Assuming it is the same software that vw fitted for me.

Great pic Doc, retirement pressie for myself.

Only got the sun roof to compensate for getting rid of my Boxster. Had loads of VW/Audi's in the past and recent test drive at local VW dealer was akin to meeting an old friend. Black is a b!tch to keep clean but what else have I to do ? Well looking forward to it and enjoying this forum. No doubt you'll enjoy the R32 to the max !
