Do the compression test as i suggested, should give some clues to the problem and if its repairable.

All good now I took it to another garage yesterday told them about all the stress

Didnt mention I paid the original garage 400 quid for nothing but a fat fail... Well I told new garage about Testing and that about emissions and he put it though and it passed! 

Soo well happy now..! Will still look at compression testing soonish though
