my 91 8v mk2 gets water in both footwells . i am sure i have had this problem with a previous mk2,and sorted it then ...trouble is when you get to my age,and enjoyed as much of the finer points of party life as i could, ;Dyou tend to forget most things ! i am sure the water is coming from up under the dash area.by the front inner wheel arch. cheers peeps.

have you read the other thread, dont think many will bother giving advice when we have already been thru this not so long ago. I could be wrong.................read the other thread  

Oh and it may be coming in thru the windscreen rubbers, mine did that before. Easiest way to sort is put some black silicone rubber around the rubbers
