dump valves,

ive tried searching and got mixed views so was wondering if you could shed some light on it,

after seaching this forum i found that the forge recirculating dump valve is the way to go, the thing is i want the pshhhhhh noise and you dont get that with it do you?? dont laugh please im a girl and love that noise!! lol

tell me what to do peeps!!

You could try it in conjuction with an induction kit... that amplifies the vent sound. Also a bigger turbo inlet pipe can make it louder.. as well as making the turbo whistle more prominent when you boot it.

dont really want a induction kit, rather a panel filter, been looking at pipercross and the trusty k+n,

just want the pshhhh, ive also read that if i have a throttle cable then i can have a normal dump valve!!

im confussed!!!  :cry:

well you can try it..  iirc the best way to do it though is to relocate the dv to behind the throttle body.. probably best to speak to jabbasport about it i think they do a kit.

i have the forge dv on mine and a induction kit and it does not sound too loud just nice pshhh sound with a bit of a growl from the induction kit  :grin:

The K & N panel filters aren't so trusty when it comes to the Mk4.....  The oil from it tends to clog up the MAF sensor.  Best off looking at a Green one, or something.
