boot light

driving back from southend last nite, and the boot warning light came on, so i pull over, and check the boots closed, to find water all over the plastic trim on the bottom of the boot, (from my rear wiper, i used it a few mins before), but now i cant get the light to go out,

HELP!!

I suppose it sets your alarm of as well when you lock it, what I did is I took the central locking fuse out which I think is number 14 and then let it dry out but it means you don't have electric windows or obviously central locking. It just seemed to dry out itself but I never use rear wash wipe anymore and no probs since.

yeah, it set my alarm off in the nite, lol

seems ok now, must have been the rear wiper then!

i wont be using that in a hurry!!

what you may find is the hose going to the rear wiper has spilt or come off (very common).

to stop it happening again you'll have to remove the boot trim and put it back together again.
