The car is going hopefully after december to make way for a cab (long time coming) while i've got the golf i'd like to smoke the front indicators and side repeators, and prob put on 16v rear half smoked rear lights. What do you guys reckon!?

I'd do it, it wont cost much at all and will probably help when you come to sell it as it will look much tidier.  :cool:

thats what im thinking, but my brother raised the point its  not styin so "why should i bother" after preceeding to tell me that my car is a total pile of sh!te, and he's the one driving a 1.1 fiesta with xr21 kit on it with an exhaust tht fell off!!!

Should make it look a bit more tidy, the rear lights u r on about look alot better than standard ones anyway, and its not as if it is gonna break the bank is it?? :laugh:

You can always put it back to standard when you sell it and flog the smoked goodies on ebay.. im pretty sure they wont add anything to the value of the car so better off selling them seperately.

i'm not bothered about increasing the value, i just want it to look a bit niccer, major mods aint gunna happen, i cant justfy lowering it, saving that for the cab  :wink:

the 16v rear lights seriously sort the arse of a mk2 out. it's a rare car that makes me think otherwise!
