I have a misfire on my 16v only at low speed.  I've changed the spark plugs and the ECU relay, but the problem is still there. The geezer at the stealers said it can't be the fuel injection relay, otherwise the car wouldn't start.
So Len, if your reading this. help!

Check your ht leads for arcing.

it's the fuel pump relay , not injection if that helps  :undecided:

I've checked the HT leads, they look ok.  Does anyone know the relay number for the fuel pump?

I went to buy an ECU Relay for my 16v as the fuel injection relay didnt sort the problem and the one i bought seemed to be misssing a connection when i matched it up to the existing one.
I thought id try it anyway and it made a fast clicking sound so that was pulled straight out again.
Am yet to find the correct ECU relay for my 16v and when i do ill post if it helps/solves my problem.

In reply to my earlier post, I changed my ECU relay which is numbered 30. Solved the problem beautifully.

Wish I had found this site before I spent £200 on electrical parts I didnt need... <£10 and problem solved...

Dont know whether to laugh or cry.

Cheers fellas

Changed Fuel pump relay as i said and it did nothing to the missfire but seemed to make the car more responcive and an £8 well spent..
Changed ECU relay and it Completly Solved the missfire problem! £8 and job done!
