I couldnt possibly give you an estimate but I would (me personally) would have thought I would give at least £3000 for it if I was looking arround you hardly ever see them on the road...

A kid in germany put his mk2 on ebay and some from the US bought if for well over a million as it was last owned by the pope befor the german kiddy...

Wouldn't like to say what the car is worth (£3000 seems a litlle cheap if it's as sound as first impressions imply), but I imagine that there will be plenty of guys out there who will bite your hand off to own her.

I'm surprised you're thinking about selling her, she's mint.

Wonder how many more are hiding in people's garages.

I was discussing last weekend the option of rallying a mk1 within the historic class, does anyobdy know of any rally preped mk1s kicking around?

Mine was garaged too and someone offered me £3500 for it  Its mine back off

Like the others said impossible to put a price to it really - its all own to what someones prepared to pay, get a lottery winner and you're laughing

Standard examples are worth the most in general so unless you can find someone who wants one with that kit/vents/painted trim etc... it might be worth spending a few quid returning it to its natural state
