Doc, my previous 2 posts were a bit of banter, after all, we've all got a common interest and I appreciate the help you've given me and, no doubt, many others.

A question for you and don't answer if you don't want to, but what is a legit reason to clock a cars mileage?

just a quicky doc, but i thought all second hand cars had to have a disclaimer or regarded as not having the correct mileage. i.e when you go to a dealer they all have the"magical sticker in the window"

Hi Doc... I am still looking for that perfect Mk2 - when I find it, I'ill look for one for you!   Bought and sold 2 Mk2 16v's over the past fortnight - they just weren't what I was looking for although they were very nice cars.

I have never seen one of these stickers on the speedo of any car in a VW garage!
