Alright guys. Thinking about changing to a MK4 soon and thought this place would be good for some advice. Got a MK3 16v at the moment, just had it serviced and now its running better than ever! Maybe the 4 is a few more months down the line!

Welcome

Unless you go for a 1.8 Turbo you will be dissappointed in a Mk 4.

Cheers. I've had a look at a few t's already. Someone tried to tempt me into buying a diesel but these simply burn the wrong fuel!

There are some on here will tell you the diesel is the best option.
They can be chipped to some quite high bhp's!

I have heard this about the diesel and I really need to drive one. The only problem I have is that I'm a bit of a petrol head. I like revs! Also, it gets right up my back when a diesel driver floors it in front of me and throws out black smoke over the front of my newly polished paint! Are you one of those Kerrse?!
