One more newbie
« on: 22 June 2006, 23:55 »
Hi! Im Anthony

I got me a Mk4 GTTDi (150), which is my first ever golf.

Not a proper petrol head (if anything i would be diesel) but i love my car and laugh in the face of anyone who doesnt own a Golf.

Had lots of different cars and had company cars for ages, but as a recently used to work for a car mag i got to test drive a lot of cars and nothing came close to this one particular car which demolished/ashamed/embarrased all other cars for looks, speed and.....well thats all you need.  And now i own one!

Not sure wether to get a spoiler, think i quite like it as it is to be fair, and i dont want it to look cheap like those chrome strip you can put on your grill!! (no offence intended to anyone that has those by the way)

Purchased some Ground Zero speakers and they are very good!

Im looking to possibly get a remap done which would take it to about 190 bhp allegedly but im scared of putting the engine at risk or something?

No pics im afraid but im sure youve seen the same car about.

Thanks in advance for any welcomes

hey welcome

the only thing that you would put at risk when you remap it would be the clutch really so its advisable to get a uprated cluch if you decide to do it
the original clutch will last for a bit anyway
