Hi all,
If you want your Mark 2 to sound like a VR6 (sort of) when you accelerate, dont bother drilling your air box, do this instead.
Remove the lower half of the air box and you will notice a large bit of plastic that sticks out, using a flat head screwdriver use it to open all the plastic clips and then remove. Put back in and listen to the baby roar on full powerÂÂÂ

I was well addicted when I had my 8v. Alternatively you can buy a K & N air filter but this is for all those who want to keep it stock looking.
In fact could some one do me a favour when they do this and take a photo of the 8v connection to the airbox. I have a K & N filter and need to know if it will fit on my new 8V GTI when I get it. I have a 16v at present as per my sigÂÂÂ

Any queries, gimme a shout.ÂÂÂ
