are they any good reliability wise or are you all constantly putting money into them!!!! on reparis each month was considering a vr6 corrad until  some of them on a corrado forum suggested they fixed and repaired them daily???

i though VW were reliable as the hill what ever model so come on lets have it what are your average repair bills per month

I think no matter what car you have in this age bracket, there are gona be things going wrong but when your golf is behaving and you aproach bottom of a hill with a few car;s in front and the road is clear, just drop the gear and feel your face tighten as your grin past them.
makes any little problem worth spending out on

I spend more time fiddling around with mine than doing any actual maintenance. The only real maintenance I have done in 4 months has been a warm up regulator.Get a mk2 valver. you won't regret it. Yeas your mk3 has a more posh interior but in the long run i have more fun with my mk2 than i have any car.

Well i absolutely love mk2's and have always wanted one so do you lot all use it as a everyday car ie to work and back...

I want to sell my mk3 and no im not to bothered bout the posh interior as ive always loved 80's hatches as they have more appeal and style IMO. just finding a good one might be a bit of a hard one!!!

mines is used everyday but it dont exactly do a lot of miles!! there is only so far u can go on the isle of man before you hit the sea!!

and as for posh interiors, well get one with leather & you have the best of both worlds ;D
