Petrol smell

I'm getting a strong smell of petrol coming out of my Mark 2 8v digi. Does anyone have any ideas where it's coming from??. It's coming from somewhere under the bonnet.

It maybe worth checking the fuel hose that connects to the injector rail. You can tell if it's leaking by looking at the plastic injector rail to see if petrol is sitting there, probably best to check when the car has been standing after a run. Normally tightening the jubilee clip should sort it.
Best to check the other fuel lines just in case as the rubber hoses do perish with age.

Had the same on mine, 1 screwdriver and 5 mins sorted it out, clip needed good tightening.
