Mk3 Golf GTI 8v 2.0 - Bright Blue and very rare

Hi all,

Just wanted to share my once owned pride and joy with you as i know you'll all appreciate it. She's a Mk3 Bright Blue Golf GTI. Had her 5 years until was forced to sell as I left the UK to live in NZ. Have found these pics and wish I still had her - a great car and hardly no problems at all.

Bright Blue paint - never saw another in Mk3 format. From what I know these only came in very late Mk2 Drivers / GTI's and the first of the MK3's like mine was.

Now driving a VW Golf GTI Mk4 - not as good, and my weekend drive is a 1990 Corrado - which is brilliant to drive.

Lovely car. That is the particular colour I'm after. Have found a clean example of one, FSH, just need to get shot of my car now.

Used to have a '97 MK3 16v GTI 3dr in 'Black Magic'... now have a '55 Civic Type-S...
