KW variant 1 coilovers??
« on: 15 June 2006, 20:00 »
does any one have any Good/bad points/info about these?

im thinking of getting them as i can get them at the same price as konigs....but to be honest i dont think i would ever adjust the damping after it has been put on the car, sooooo these are the next option!!

what do people rekon?? any good, or get the konigs??

BTW i keep being told that in the last few weeks prices for fk, spax, bilstein etc have gone up... this is why the KW's have come into the equation.

anyone??? :undecided:

I heard that FK are going up by about 20% too

As you said too, once my coilovers were on and set up I never adjusted them

yeah, a bit too much bother really, esp for a daily runner..... my only concern with fixed dampers is that i might not like the set up!! too hard, too soft ??  :undecided:

ive heard the kw are a good bit of kit but 'fixed damping'?? i dunno..would it be worth getting the konigs for the flexibility??

On my coilovers the softest setting is hard as f@ck anyway

The  settings on most coilovers seems to range from hard to hard as f@ck

Just one final question, does anyone have any comments about GAZ coilovers?? their read up sounds good, but so do they all!!

they are all zinc plated to prevent corrosion etc etc and are both types ajustable.... decent prices and can be rebuilt

anyone  :undecided:
