Has anyone here had there side skirts, front valance and rear lower bumper colour coded??? if so does it cost? also is it an option that you have to request at the dealer? even though there is no option to choose for this to happen?

Had my GTI skirts, rea valance & front spoiler lip done. Cost was £500 from a very good body shop that I've used before. The VW stealer wanted £780 to do it prior to delivery of the car! BTW - on the rear valance, only have the top half of the valance colour coded - looks a bit naff if you have all of it painted - leave the black area near the exhaust alone   I've added R32 rear lights too - really sets off the rear of the car. Bloody nightmare to re-fit the tail lights though - you need small hands and lots of patience  -something I don't have!

It'll look more or less like this...

got my R32 lights from a chap on this forum - look under group buys. They are subtle - a tad darker red, but do make the car stand out from other gti's and of course, from the bog golf models!

personally i like the colour contrast but if you leave a bit of the rear valence black like pictured above it looks pretty sweet

Sorry, I will post some as soon as I've finished all the mods - only 700 miles and it's run in, then off to Morego for some more horses...
