car keyed - vandels bastrads
« on: 11 June 2006, 10:19 »
today woke up and saw my car had been keyed all along one side probabaly a racially motivated attack, am we pis$ed off especially as i just had the wing and door sprayed fo3 380.00 a couple og months ago...  the wing scratch is a bit deep theres sort of flakes where the line is

but the back door and 3/4 tank bit is very light its only scratched the lacquer possibly the paint what is the best thing to hide the scracth i tried polish but it only made it worse by showing it up more

ave never been so heart broken in my life.

not good news man!

I've recently noticed all yourposts and you've been working hard on your car and this happens. Kick in my bollocks!

I know the feeling. Don't let it dishearten you too much, get right back in there and carry on!

Me too I fecking hate scumbags!

There's good money to be made by selling quality items and quality services on vehicles, yes.

BUT you need to work hard (est 1995) and long hours PLUS we also fit:

Car Alarms
Immobilisers
Tracking systems
Car Phone Kits
Sat Nav Systems
Reverse Park Sensors etc.

There expensive - we are not the cheapest by a long shot but the quality is second to non!

Good job there !

btw I'm SO jealous of your car !!!!!

whats the best sort of polish thing for it...

i had a look on ebay and bought the MER scratch removal it was only 3.99 also got the autoglym paint renovator and super polish resin thinkign i could polish the scratch on the back door as its not very deep its basically scratched the lacquer off and this diamondbrite stuff comes in two bottles wax on and sealent what u reckon....

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=8056286382&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT

i also bought this

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=8071178025&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT

and

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=8073743331&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT

is there a scratch compound thing out there that could fill the lacquer up or should i be ok with the obove, i was thinkign fo using the mer scratch removal and then protecting it with the autoglym crap.

hopwever i know with the peraly colour that mine is, any scratch when polished will just show up right away, the wing one is out the question but i cant afford spraying that 2nd time.

any advice appreciated. cheers
