REVO Tuning
« on: 10 December 2003, 13:21 »
Just a thought, but the  5hour free trial, it must use some sort of timing device to bomb after 5 hours, so if you turn the clock back in your car will this cause it to prolong the re-mapping???

Just a thought. :)

I said exactly the same thing to my friend that is a computer hacker by proffession and his reply:

You'd be surprised.  I've broke into/know a lot of
systems/web apps (even security apps) that have weaker
security than the attack I've just mentioned. ;-) --i.e. the changing the clock.

Got to be worth a try?

So you have to go back to them for them to reset the ecu? are you sure? Don't think they'd give away a 600 squid serivce on trust?
