Gti Turbo engine problems

sorry to say but mk4 1.8t's a known to having these faults!! id have thought by now vw would have got all there staff trained into sussing out this probs in the first hit!!! as i reckon theres alot of unhappy customers out there!!! bloody quick good cars when not having engine misfires probs etc!!!!

I have taken car to a different bigger main dealer last week. I had and air mass meter and a charcoal sensor replaced and the car now seems back to original nice drive just like when I bought it (touch wood). I think that maybe with the complexity of the engine maybe the larger dealer has more experianced staff and seen a larger range of cars to know the faults better.
