Welcome fellow 'newbie'

Sod the Fords (i speak from experience)  Most unreliable cars i have ever owned!

Buy a VW and you can't go too far wrong in my short experience of owning a Golf GTi! It's a cracking motor! But then, don't take my word for it...

Ben

Howdie!

I still have a soft spot for some of my old Fords, specifically the ones with RS badges on them.

I'm thoroughly enjoying my Golf though. Took her our for a thrashing last night on some of my old favourite test roads. Great fun but needs a little more punch. I'm going to wait a while before modifying though.
Fantastic standard car.

Hey Carl,

I always fancied a series one. Had Mk2 RS2k, S2, 3 Door Cos over the years.
I had a mk2 8v Golf about 2 years ago as an everyday hack when I was doing big milleage and loved it.

I have to say it was allure of the turbo that finally brought me over to the VW side.

Those TT wheels look great on your car mate, quite fancy a set of them for my mkIV.
