I'm still in shock....
I've been a Ford nut for my entire driving career having had one or more in my possesion (Everything from a Fiesta 1.1 to a Sierra Cosworth) for the last 15 years. There were always two distinct groups within my friends, those who had Fords and those who had VW's! You can imagine the slaggin I've put myself up for now I've bought a Golf! I've had a few older VW's in the past but not as my main passion.
Whats worse is that I'm absolutely loving it! I just picked up a Vreg 1.8T, 49k, in Grey and it's the nicest car i've ever owned. I was looking for ages at Focus's but nothing really caught my eye. It was a guy at works 1.8T that turned it for me. Recaro's, pleasant power, solid build...just what the doctor ordered.
