yesterday i spent the morning stripping my suspension down , only to realise that the idiot at eurocarparts gave me rear shocks instead of fronts !!! i thought **ck it and decided to put the lowering springs on anyway only to realise that i need a special tool to take off the spring cap !!! tried every motor factors around and nobody had a clue what i was talking about ! got to go main dealers , and guess what , its bank holiday and i cant order till tuesday !

anybody got any advice on central locking ? i thought my mk2 driver didnt have it ( obviously broke ) but the other day i opened the boot and heard a pump buzzing away , any obvious checks ?

Look for vacuum pipes in the boot or behind door cards mate.

does any 1 have any diagrams showing the central locking system ?

if your pump buzzes when you lock/unlock then its most as said above itll be a vacume hose come out, follow the ones that disapear behind the rear lights and then the ones to each lock so behind the door cards and the boot and petrol flap,theyre all fairly easy to get too
