Jabba say the following ... 

4. Question: Should I Block Off The Boost Return System?
Answer: There is some bad advice from other Companies regarding this modification, PLEASE DO NOT DO IT it will destroy the supercharger within a very short time!! Jabbasport always recommend that the standard boost return system is left in place. Remove this and block off the return system to the Supercharger will starve it from the oil vapour it needs from the engine breather, this is needed to lubricate the sprung assisted Apex seals within the casings.

I agree that Jabbasport must know what they are talking about... But.. doesnt the charger already have an oil feed?

Any thoughts?

No no no! If there's any doubt (and there is) DO NOT DO IT! You cannot argue with Jabbasport on the G60 blocks! And I cannot believe that you want to give your sought after, classic G60 "a nich big whoosh on gear changes"

To Be honest you don't need it. My G60 has had the return pipe taken off completely so it now breaths fresh air, no need for the pipe.

Didnt say i was gonna get one.. Just wondered what they were like. I understand the theory of hot air not good for combustion, but surely thats what the intercooler is for.

Doesnt make a lot of difference.

Its true the charger relies on the warm oily air to keep the apex seals in order.. but thats why you're supposed to spray the internals with ptfe grease every couple of thousand miles to keep things running sweet.

I still use a boost return, but have a cold air induction to the charger which screams when i change gear, turns heads and makes me do the sexwee thankyouplease.

I'm new to the G60, but I'd be tempted to go with Jabba's advice, they certainly have a formidable reputation.
I'm more tempted to save my cash for uprated Oil Cooler, Intercooler, and maybe charge cooler.

I would also talk to the guys at Pitstop Developments, their reputation is also very good and they serviced the charger on my G60.

I can't really say from experience as I haven't spoken with Jabber but PD are supposed to be the best.
