What Polish to use?

Hi Guys

After some advice on what Polish to use. I tend to use T-Cut and then Turtle wax polish, but recently i havent been very successful with this. Ive heard good things about autogleem (Spelling) and Mer...

Whats the best.. Need something to cut and polish the paintwork!

Autoglym Resin polish mate, it's the dogs danglies, and brought my paint back from being silly pink a treat. 4 coats of it i put on, and then waxed it twice. Hasn't needed touching again in the last 3 weeks. Bearing in mind it hasn't stopped raining here for the last week on and off thats pretty good.

thanks for the response.. so does the Resin cut the paint? and then use Autoglym wax to protect the paintwork?

I don't think the resin cuts it, (i used 5 coats of safecut) then polished it up, it does however put a amzingly deep shine onto the paint, nothing i have used has matched it yet, including the meguires stuff. Feels like glass, and where i put the polish bottle on the bonnet before it just slides straight off now.

Amazing finish, no contest.

I bought autogym deep shine for dark colours, have not used it yet (too bloody wet) but i was recommended it aswell!

DON'T get theat colour match stuff, utter crap!

I must admit it was AutoGlym that got mine shining like that in my siggy pic  - not bad for a car that had just been taken out of 9 years storage 

I use the me*g****s  stuff cos my mate gave me a bottle of the stuff they made for mercedes

do u need to t-cut first with that stuff ti bring it back from pink to red or does that stuff do the t-cut's job.....I hate t-cutting you see!

My point totally.. T-cut makes a right mess... im gonna get some of the Autoglyum polish resin just what cutting stuff to use. whats the safecut, who makes that?

T-CUT is sh!t compared to the Safecut stuff, it's avaliable at all halfords stores, and comes in a yellow and red bottle. Goes on like polish, and works a treat, just do a few cuts with that, and then do a few coats with the autoglym polish. Whilst in halfords get some Valeting clothes, NOT POLISHING CLOTHES! These in conjunction with the polish will bring it to a deep shine and finish like you have never seen. I almost wee'd a little when i had finished mine.
