im still rather new here, but im going to add my opinion anyway....

if i had given a car to a garage for a total rebuild and re-spray, and then been given a £1600 bill, id be over the f*cking moon.... ive been given quotes of £1100 just for a respray from body shops in the past so this dude should be counting himself lucky, £1600 for a mk1 rebuild to that level..... wow hardcore i salute you!!!!

over the feckin moon with it. the fact that it had to be put under whatever lights they were to see any imperfections
