 number too is slightly redder if that makes sence , not sure what mines meant to be , its an 83 car so its right on the border line

i think mars red 2 was for the very early mark 2's wasnt it

slim-dub, what i meant was is it acually mars red or another type of red as it looks dark, suppose thats what its supposed to look like  :grin:

right, is it me or do mk1's look absolutely unbef**kinglievable on ats classics and with no bumpers!?! was messin about on dubmodder the other day and did a white one with the red pinstripe and front grill and it looked unreal!

P.S. Nice work jay, another vw rescued!

thats the best mk3 ive seen..ever! its just clean and subtle.. :cool:

In my humble opinion its sounds as if a fair job has been done for a fair amount of money!
As far a Court and the law is concerned - its down to the Law of Tort, which is basically you get what you pay for!

£1600 for a complete strip and paint to that quality is a Fookin bargain, people ought to remember how many hours have been spent on it and divvy it by an hourly rate of a pro workshop. Shop f00kin winging about it the job's a goodun. And e38 is getting clickier by the minute.
