How low?
« on: 22 May 2006, 14:48 »
Hi im new to the VW scene and new to this forum. Having just got myself a mk 4 GTI I put some very common 18" RS 4's on. Now im wanting to lower it a little i'm just not too sure how low I can go? I was told 40mm was probably as low before it starts getting complicated? I was also told eibach springs are the better for this? Any tips would be appreciated.

hi and welcome. eibachs are all good, not too sure about how low mk4's generally go but its all to do with the anti-roll bar drop links..... if you go low you need different ones to clear the wishbones? something like that anyway! look in the mk4 section , there must be some advice there...
