I was watching a program on tv about messing around with the break servo to make the rear brakes work more sharper. Can someone tell me how its done if it can be done?

fit a bias adjustable valve and just flavour more towards the back. that would surely work
from the sacred dojo of muppetsport the grand master shall show us the way.

3rd dann black belt in car modifying. wax on wax off, engine out, engine in.

yeah man brake bias valve, it allows you to adjust basically as far as i understand it, the pressure gien to the brake fluid that goes to the back or the front.

a mate has rear discs on his nova and it used to lock the arse end up all the time, fitted a bias valve and relived it a little of its pressure to the back and all was well. would work the same the other way around

You will already have a brake pressure regulator fitted to your car, it sits just foward of the rear axle infront of the left wheel. The lever on the regulator is actually connected to the axle, this varies the pressure fed to the backs according to axle position. You can adjust the regulator, but it is not recommended to do so.

if you lower the car to the floor doesn't the regulator think your boot is loaded with heavy stuff and bias the brakes to the back anyway?

my back end keeps locking up when braking hard. I was going to reset the regulator when I got it over a pit again to balance them up again.

The lower the back of the car is , the less the valve will restrict the flow to the back brakes. Have you checked that the valve isn't seized?
