its the only 17mm hex bolt on the underside of the diff

an easier way to fill it is thru the speedo cable hole, with the filler bolt on the side removed, then when it seeps out the side of the filler hole you know its full

bit less messy but its 6 of one, half a dozen of the other really!

OK problem is I cant find the filler bolt, I have found the 17mm hex bolt which is the drain plug but am fcuked if I can find the filler. Haynes manual is not helpful either as does not show a pic of it. To make matter worse my car has been lowered 60 mm

Look behind the front/left wheel. It is at the end of the gearbox.

its probably covered in all the sh!te of the day!! so you may have to give it a bit of a clean to see it!

Good point, I will have another look when I can be fcuked. After xmas now me thinks , too damn cold otherwise !!

The filler plug looks just like the drain plug.

thx all, not got round to it yet as tried and it was bloody freezing. Problem I am having is the fact it is so damn low, I brush my cheek on the bumper trying to get my head under . Will report back once I have tackled it.

Probably would be easier to jack up a little and turn the steering.
