When did/do you MK 4 owners have a cambelt change Mileage???

60K is on the money.  I'd also get the water pump changed too as they can be prone to failure. only a few extra quid but provides extra peace of mind

& also the tensioners/pulleys while they're at it, too!

my oil burner got done at 70K !! advised to do tensioners as standard as the old ones are never truely "right"  afterwards, so i was told  but they dont cost all that much

i didnt get my water pump done, wish i had though! just for the peace of mind as Rhyso said

i kept an eye on mine from 60k onwards. it looked fairly new so had probably already been changed. had the whole lot replaced, all sets of pulleys/idlers and the waterpump when i had a new aircon compressor at 85k.
