respray..
« on: 16 May 2006, 14:12 »
i've booked the beast in for a full respray in 3 weeks time..

i'm hoping dscam will get another 25 orders by the end of the month for the rear tailgate decal to be a goer  :undecided:

just wondering what peoples thoughts are on the go faster stripes and whether i should replace them after the paint job..

i've got a grey side decal (which i believe is oem) running front to back just halfway down the panels and a thin red stripe just above the rubbing strips..  should i replace them or leave them off altogether??  :undecided:

i also just thought about the mirrors and plates - colour coded or original black??

colour is helious blue

Hi, whats the quote you got for the respray, I looking at doing mine to finish the project off, too shy to put any photos till it painted, cheapest qoute i got at the mo is 750! Keep the stripe if you taking the mouldings off! If you code the mirrrors and plates the bumpers may look odd! Hope it all goes well.

i managed to get mates rates of £700 for the respray including all the prep work which i thought was pretty good.  i've seen quite a few examples of his work so am fairly happy..
