Decided to sell the 1.3 to buy my new replacement that i'm gonna purchase.

* 12 Months MOT
* 6 Months Tax
* 150k on the clock
* Sound engine
* Noisey gearbox
* Tatty paintwork with the odd dent but solid and not rusty
* Clean interior
* GTi trimmings
* Recent standard back box

I'd always like to think mine is worth £800 or so.... But then, its always worth more to you than to someone else... If you sold it to someone who really wanted a golf, but who was only learning to drive, you could get more for it. Folk on here will always put it down cos its not a GTi etc... I think mine is insured for £800, so at least the insurance man agreed with me
