Bentley Manual
« on: 16 May 2006, 11:10 »
Ive been hearing good things about Bentley manuals as oppose to the standard Haynes manuals however from looking on their site I could only find this manual that came close to my model

http://www.bentleypublishers.com/product.htm?code=VG99

My car is a Mk3 8v engine code AGG which is not listed here, is that cause these manuals are american and the model numbers a different?

If someone could confirm this manual is suitable for my car specifically or alternatively suggest another version or book which is maybe more comprehensive than the haynes manual that would be great

Also has anyone any experience with the cds that are sold on ebay stating that they are the same as the vw dealer software etc etc

Bentley manuals are great.

ebay cd's are just gonna be the same pirated versions of ETKA you can download from the net (if you look around for a bit) i had a copy and its ok for finding part numbers, but the pricing won't work as you wont have a connection to the vw database.

you'll be able to find it if you look around the p2p sites. remember that you should only look at unlicensed software for 24 hours to 'evaluate' it before you purchase it
