how do you remove the seats out of a 4 door 1994 golf i have a set of buckets to go in but am running into trouble over findion how to take out the originals

I've not done it but I'm led to believe you can do it like a mk2.. Which is... Slide the seat back, look at the front of the centre of the seat subframe, there's a small allen bolt and nut, remove this then the seat will slide all the way forward, off the rails and over your fingers....
Backs are just bolted in, just unbolt them...

hi, i changed the seats in my mk3, piece of piss! All ya do is remove the plastic covers on the rear of the rails, slide the seat back, look under the front centre rail an there should be a small spring clip, just pop that out and slide it out!
